The Little House On The Prairie Prediction

At the end of 'The Little House On The Prairie' the Ingalls family, Mary (Daughter), Laura (Daughter), Caroline (Ma), Charles (Pa), Baby Carrie and Jack (Dog) moved because they did not want to disturb or cause a war against the native Indians. While they were travelling, they came across an abandoned wagon, so they all took a look in the wagon... it was not abandoned. There were 2 adults, a woman and a man. Charles offered to help but the man and the woman refused for his help. So the Ingalls family rode away, looking for a safe place to rebuild their house. I predict that the Ingalls family will move successfully and cause no war against the Indians.

Mike Dawson is an Olympic Ambassador. He came to Te Hapara School to talk about his experience being in the Olympics. The main Sport he plays in the Olympics is Canoe/Kayak - Slalom. For all of you who don't know what Slalom means... Slalom means move or race in a winding path, avoiding obstacles.

He talked about the values you need to be an Olympian Athlete: Friendship, Respect and Excellence.

I learnt that Mike Dawson did not make the Olympic team for 2008. He also broke his spine. He made some really good friends being in the Olympics.
